The DNSSEC is a combination of two words, 1) DNS and 2) SEC.

What is DNS?
We know that there are millions of articles on this topic that explain the DNS as Domain Name System, and it does not explain the meaning in a simple way that a common man can understand.
The domain is nothing but IP address of servers where the website files are stored in it. IP Address was the only way to access the site in the first generation. A common individual cannot remember multiple websites with the IP address.
Domain Name System introduced by the ICANN so the masses can access the websites. Domain names are connected with IP address of the server so that it can access the site files without IP address.
You may have noticed that the broadband login page does not have a name, and IP address shows up in the clipboard.
No one access sites like Youstable, YouTube, Google, ContentCreator, and other sites using the IP address. The Domain Name System idea proposed by the ICANN changed the course of the Internet.
Domain = IP Address > Server > Website
Domain Name: YouStable.com > Server > Website.
The DNS system makes it easier for normal people to navigate the site using names.
What is the SEC in DNSSEC?
Security Extensions stands for SEC and Internet Security Protocols proposed it under Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).
Many hackers and privacy invaders found loopholes in the Domain Name System and started to exploit it. The IETF cannot overlook the loophole as it has claimed millions of people around the world. The consumption of the internet has increased over the few years, and everyone depends on the World Wide Web for answers and solutions.
Recently, experts found leaks and loopholes in the DNS system that enables the hackers and online invaders to record the communication between browser and website server.
Let’s assume that you are shopping on an unsecured site and entering credit card details or debit card details; then it goes through from browser to website servers, then it repeats the same procedure in the same session.

DNSSEC = Domain Name System Security Extensions.
DNSSEC protects the users from online invasion, and it takes the visitors to the actual site or service. However, it does not solve all online problems like the development of the DNSSEC yet to be developed security improvements.
